A collection of 20th Century British military cap and collar badges, comprising ten insignia. The group includes nine metal badges and one embroidered fabric patch. The metal badges, characteristic of British Commonwealth regimental and corps insignia, are crafted from various materials including silver-tone white metal, brass, and bronze-toned alloys. Designs feature crowned lions, castles, thistles, and multiple variations of a field gun surmounted by a crown. Visible text includes “ARGYLL AND SUTHERLAND”, “IN VERITATE RELIGIONIS CONFIDO”, “KING’S”, “SCOTTISH BORDERERS”, “OWN”, “DOMINUS FRUSTRA”, “UBIQUE”, and “QUO FAS ET GLORIA DUCUNT”. The embroidered patch, on khaki-colored fabric, depicts a cannon with wings in cream and brown thread.
