Another Great Auction 11th December
A group of religious articles comprising three bead strands and a single separate cross. The collection includes a long strand of smooth, rounded, opaque green beads, likely Aventurine, strung on a natural fiber cord, terminating with a small cylindrical wooden bead, consistent with a St. Joseph Green Catholic Rosary. Also present is a rosary crafted with cream-colored, spherical, intricately carved beads joined by a metal chain, featuring a central medal with visible depictions of the Virgin Mary and a papal image, with “ROMA” faintly visible, leading to a carved cross with a metal corpus. A second rosary is made of plain, spherical dark brown wooden beads on a metal chain, with a similar central medal depicting a figure, and a simple wooden cross with a metal corpus. Additionally, a separate, intricately carved cream-colored cross, possibly bone or resin, with geometric patterns and no corpus, is included.
