A collection of five vintage brooches. Four of the brooches are “lucky charm” or “hunting trophy” style pins, each comprising a taxidermied animal paw or foot with fur and claws, mounted on silver-tone metal findings. These metal elements are variously embellished with faux gemstones in red or purple, a faux pearl, or decorative motifs including feathers in blue, red, and pink on one example. This style is commonly referred to in the market as “Grouse Foot Parminger” brooches. The fifth brooch is an opaque, light tan-colored plastic or resin piece, molded into the shape of a prancing horse with small red eye details.
