A collection of vintage Scottish grouse foot brooches and a feather pin, some attributed to Mizpah. The collection comprises five decorative accessories. Four items feature natural fur and claws, consistent with taxidermied grouse feet, each mounted with silver-tone metal findings. These metal components are variously embellished with faceted clear, orange, or reddish-brown stones, and one incorporates a small stylized deer head motif. A single grouse foot also exhibits a brass-tone metal tip. The fifth item is a vibrant arrangement of various natural feathers, including iridescent and spotted examples, secured to a silver-tone metal pin fitting detailed with an orange faceted stone. The materials suggest a combination of natural organic components and base metal alloys. No visible manufacturer’s marks or text are apparent.
