Another Great Auction 11th December
A comprehensive collection of ‘The Complete Works of Charles Dickens,’ presented as ‘The Centennial Edition’ and distributed by Heron Books. The set features uniform hardcover volumes, each bound in textured dark green with ornate gold gilt lettering and decorative motifs on the spine, including titles such as ‘Great Expectations’ and ‘Dombey and Son’ (Vol. I). Each volume includes a yellow ribbon bookmark. Internally, the pages are white with clear black text, often accented with red decorative lines, and feature an image of Dickens. Introductions are credited to H. W. Garrod, and illustrations are by Phiz. The collection is housed in 2 boxes.
