A Loyal Order of Orangemen Silk Sash Panel. This printed textile panel features a central engraved-style image of “WILLIAM III.” on a rearing horse, flanked by classical columns and background scenes including a tent. Above this, an Eye of Providence within a triangle, a crown, a star, and allegorical figures are depicted. A curved banner at the top reads “OUR CAUSE IS GOOD & FIRM WILL STAND,” and below the central image, the text “LOYAL ORDER OF ORANGEMEN.” is prominently displayed. The bottom edge includes the manufacturer’s details: “Manufactured by GEORGE KENNING & SON, London, Liverpool, Manchester & Glasgow.” The panel is made of a light-colored fabric, identified by web consensus as silk, and is trimmed with a dark brown decorative braided textile trim stitched around its perimeter. Its visual style, content, and identified manufacturer suggest a 19th-century fraternal or commemorative piece.
