Another Great Auction 11th December
A ring-bound scrapbook album featuring stiff, horizontally ribbed pages in a tan and brown color scheme, secured by a gold-colored metal coil binding. The album contains numerous black and white photographic prints depicting scenes from the Nazi era in Germany. Subjects primarily include Adolf Hitler in various public and official capacities, military parades with artillery and troops, mass rallies with crowds performing Nazi salutes, and architecture displaying prominent swastika and eagle emblems. A monument visible in one image is inscribed with the German text “GEBAUT AN! 21.3. 1934” (Built on! March 21, 1934), providing a specific period context, and an aircraft bearing the registration “D-2800” is also present.
