Also included are badges for the ARGYLL AND SUTHERLAND HIGHLANDERS, the BLACK WATCH ROYAL HIGHLANDERS with the Latin motto ‘NEMO ME IMPUNE LACESSIT’ (No one provokes me with impunity), the GLOUCESTERSHIRE Regiment featuring the battle honour ‘EGYPT’, and THE NORFOLK REGIMENT. Further badges include one marked ‘ASSAYE’, one featuring both ‘EGYPT’ and ‘TALAVERA’ battle honours, and THE YORKSHIRE PRINCESS OF WALES’S OWN (dated ‘1875’ and referencing ‘ALEXANDRA’). A separate badge exhibits the royal cipher ‘GR VI’ (George Rex VI), dating it to the reign of King George VI (1936-1952). The badges are primarily crafted from a silver-toned metal, with several examples showcasing bi-metal construction incorporating brass or bronze-toned elements.
