Another Great Auction 11th December
A collection of Royal Engineers uniform buttons. The buttons vary in size and are predominantly crafted from brass-toned metal, with a smaller number of silver-toned examples. All buttons are of a shanked construction. The majority feature a raised central motif of an “ER” monogram surmounted by a crown, encircled by the word “ENGINEERS”. Some variations in the surrounding text are visible on certain buttons.
