Another Great Auction 11th December
A Steiff ‘Mocky’ Hippopotamus plush toy, realistically depicted from brown faux fur with lighter brown accents on the inner ears and snout. Attached to its left ear is the characteristic yellow fabric Steiff tag, which clearly displays “STEIFF” and “KNOPF IM OHR” (Button in Ear). Further text on the tag includes “Handmade by STEIFF-Spielwaren GmbH,” “D-89537 Giengen/Brenz,” “Made in Germany,” “Original,” a “CE” mark, “Washable,” and “Not suitable for children under 3 years.” The model number 0685/30 is visible, confirming its composition as polyester fibers.
