Another Great Auction 11th December
A collection of British commemorative coins and currency, primarily dating to the mid-20th century and associated with Queen Elizabeth II’s reign. The collection includes two 1952-1977 H.M. Queen Elizabeth II Silver Jubilee Crown coins, each presented in a red-backed plastic holder. Also present are two 1953 Coronation Five Shillings coins, one housed in a black sleeve and another in a small dark plastic box. A 1951 Festival of Britain Five Shillings coin is also included, housed in a black sleeve and accompanied by its original green cardboard box, marked “FESTIVAL OF BRITAIN 1951.” Additionally, a group of loose copper, bronze, and brass-toned coins of various denominations and ages are scattered.
