Another Great Auction 11th December
A Jinhao ‘Dragon Playing Pearl’ Fountain Pen and Magnifying Glass Set, presented in a green patterned cardboard presentation box. The magnifying glass features a translucent, light green, jade-like handle leading to an intricately cast silver-toned metal frame, detailed with a zoomorphic dragon motif and three small red cabochons, encompassing a clear glass lens. The accompanying fountain pen, finished in black lacquer or resin, showcases a prominent gold-colored dragon design on its barrel, complemented by gold-toned metal accents including the clip and trim. The cap band is adorned with repeating Chinese characters, translating to “dragon” (龍) and “phoenix” (鳳), and its two-toned nib is marked “IRIDIUM POINT” along with other indistinguishable script.
