Another Great Auction 11th December
A pair of vintage French La Massenotte handcuffs, dating to circa 1940. One cuff is marked “LA MASSENOTTE,” and the other bears the inscription “FABn FRANCE BTE S.G.D.G.” (Manufactured France Patented Without Government Guarantee), indicating French origin and a patent period typically between 1844 and 1968. The handcuffs are chain-linked and constructed from metal. They are accompanied by a dark brown leather case/holster.
