A diverse collection of numerous letterpress printing blocks and plates. The lot includes examples predominantly crafted from metal (likely zinc, copper, or magnesium), featuring various colored surface coatings such as blue, purple, yellow, green, and pink. Some blocks are mounted on wood, and at least one appears to be linoleum or a similar material. Designs encompass a wide array of subjects, including text, logos, decorative patterns, and illustrative figures like a woman’s face and a chef. Visible reversed English text includes “BEDROCK”, “Saul’s”, “SQUARE”, “Mardi Gras”, “H2O”, and dates such as “1905”. Several blocks also display reversed Cyrillic text, translating to “VERY” (ОЧЕНЬ), “INTERNATIONAL” (МЕЖДУНАРОДНЫЙ), and “RELEASE 2023” or “GRADUATION 2023” (ВЫПУСК 2023).
