A 31-piece cased cutlery set by Viners Ltd Sheffield, designed as a canteen for six people. The set comprises six knives with cream-colored synthetic or bone-substitute handles, six four-pronged forks, six small spoons (likely teaspoons), six medium spoons (dessert spoons), six larger spoons (table or soup spoons), and one large serving spoon or ladle. The cutlery is crafted from stainless steel, with knife blades visibly marked with a crown emblem, “VINERS LTD SHEFFIELD MADE ENGLAND”, and “SUPER STAINLESS”. The set is housed within a dark stained wooden case, possibly oak, featuring decorative beaded edges and brass hardware. The interior of the case is lined with blue velvet in the upper tray and cream fabric in the lower tray. A small sticker with “4228” is present on the exterior of the case.
