A Parinirvana Buddha figurine, identified as ‘Mahaparinirvana Buddha’ or ‘Parinirvana Buddha’ and originating from India. Rendered in a Southeast Asian-inspired style, depicting a serene figure lying on its right side, head supported by its hand. It is adorned with a golden, jeweled crown featuring red and green accents, and a richly decorated golden robe embellished with numerous mirrored or mother-of-pearl-like accents. The exposed skin areas feature an intentional crackle-glaze finish in an off-white color, suggesting a distressed or aged aesthetic, while the golden areas are smooth. The material is a painted resin or composite, consistent with a modern manufacture designed to emulate an antique.
