Another Great Auction 11th December
A Stuart Surridge miniature cricket bat, crafted from wood, likely willow, featuring a red-wrapped handle. The bat’s face prominently displays printed branding including “STUART SURRIDGE & CO. LTD.” and “Perfect,” alongside “TRADE MARK” and “WELLINGTON” appearing twice near the shoulder. A key inscription reads “AUSTRALIA 1977 TOURING TEAM,” below which are multiple hand-signed autographs in black ink. These signatures include a designated “Captain” (appearing to be Greg Chappell) and “Vice Captain” (appearing to be Doug Walters), followed by numerous other team members’ signatures. The reverse side of the bat features a stylized red “SS” logo near the shoulder.
