A set of four hand-painted wooden nesting spheres, finished with a glossy lacquer or varnish in natural wood tones. The largest sphere features hand-drawn map-like depictions of continents and oceans, with visible Latin-derived names including “MARE PACIFICUM INCOGNIPA” (Pacific Sea Unknown), “BUIANA ANGRICUS” (Angry Buiana), “ZUR,” “EUROAAF” (Europe/Africa), “AUSTRALIA,” and “ARCTICUS,” suggesting an antique or stylized cartographic theme. The smaller spheres are adorned with stylized anthropomorphic faces, possibly representing suns or moons, alongside abstract designs. All drawings and text are rendered in black ink or paint.
