Another Great Auction 11th December
A group of four antique English brass beehive candlesticks, of varying heights. Each candlestick features a traditional baluster-form stem rising from a stepped square base and is topped with a flared bobeche. The material is brass, exhibiting a visibly aged and patinated finish. Faint white handwritten markings, potentially “P.W. 1921”, are visible on the base of the leftmost candlestick, and other indistinct marks are present on a second base. No other definitive maker’s marks or foreign language inscriptions are immediately apparent.
