Inside the lid, a centrally impressed mark features what appears to be a stylized “W” or crown above the text “REG. N° 5 V.E.”. “REG. N°” is typically an abbreviation for “Registro Numero” or “Registration Number” in Romance languages, and “V.E.” potentially refers to “Vittorio Emanuele,” suggesting a possible Italian origin and historical period. The box features a recessed handle on the front and bears several yellow adhesive inventory labels with handwritten numbers on its exterior surfaces.
