Another Great Auction 11th December
A full, clear glass bottle of James Eadie’s Trade Mark X Blended Scotch Whisky, presented with a gold foil-wrapped neck and its distinctive black and gold cardboard presentation box. The branding prominently features “JAMES EADIE’S ESTABLISHED 1854” and a large ‘X’ “TRADE MARK”. Both the bottle and box indicate 45.6% vol, 80° PROOF, and 70cl/700ml volume, with the whisky being “BLENDED & BOTTLED IN SCOTLAND”. The bottle’s main label notes “Registered 1877” and “Revived 2017” with a “N. H. Mathieson” master blender signature. The presentation box includes a historical quote attributed to “ALFRED BARNARD. 1889.” The bottle contains an amber liquid.
