Another Great Auction 11th December
A modern, unopened bottle of James Eadie’s Trade Mark ‘X’ Blended Scotch Whisky, presented with its original black and gold cardboard presentation box. The glass bottle contains a golden amber liquid, sealed with a gold foil-wrapped cap. Its paper labels are detailed with ‘JAMES EADIE’S ESTABLISHED 1854’, a prominent ‘X’ ‘TRADE MARK’, ‘BLENDED SCOTCH WHISKY’, ’80° PROOF’ (crossed out) and ‘45.6% vol.’, and ’70clE’ / ‘700ml’. The labels also indicate ‘Registered 1877’ and ‘Revived 2017 Norman Mathison’, alongside a historical quote attributed to Alfred Barnard, 1889. The bottle maintains a full liquid level.
