Another Great Auction 11th December
A contemporary bottle of James Eadie’s Trade Mark ‘X’ Blended Scotch Whisky, presented in its accompanying black and gold presentation box. The glass bottle contains a light amber liquid, sealed with a gold foil cap repeating “JAMES EADIE LTD.” Labels on both the bottle and box prominently feature the brand name, a distinctive gold “X” trade mark, and specifications including “45.6% vol,” “80° PROOF,” and “70cl / 700ml.” Text indicates it is “BLENDED & BOTTLED IN SCOTLAND” and highlights historical dates: “ESTABLISHED 1854,” “REGISTERED 1877,” and “REVIVED 2017,” alongside the name “Norman Mathison” and a stylized signature. The box also displays a quote attributed to Alfred Barnard, 1888.
