A pair of vintage elephant-form trinket or pill boxes. Each crafted from a darkened, patinated silver-toned metal, likely pewter as suggested by web intelligence, exhibiting a worn finish with brighter metallic highlights. Both feature a hinged lid on the elephant’s back, opening to reveal an interior lined with deep red velvet or flocking. One elephant displays a small suspension loop attached to its lid. The style is decorative and appears consistent with vintage manufacture. No visible maker’s marks or textual inscriptions are present on either object.
Measurements: Approximately 5 cm (2 inches) in length.
