A pair of Burmese/Thai Kalaga embroidered wall hangings, crafted from Fabric. The upper textile, set on a black velvet-like ground with a brown border, features a large central elephant motif surrounded by four smaller elephants in the corners, all intricately detailed with silver, red, and blue sequins and outlined in gold-toned embroidery. The lower textile, on a maroon fabric, displays a prominent central circular medallion encircled by sixteen smaller repeating floral or mandalic motifs, extensively decorated with gold-toned thread embroidery, silver-toned sequins, and small colored beads in green, red, and white. Both items are fitted with fabric loops along their top edges for hanging. No discernible text or markings are visible.
