Another Great Auction 11th December
A Corgi Toys 1119 HDL Hovercraft SR-N1 die-cast metal and plastic toy in its original, worn cardboard packaging. Accompanying this is a collection of diverse vintage household and recreational items, predominantly dating from the mid-20th century. This collection includes a rectangular “Parkinson’s Nut Toffee Brazil” metal tin, repurposed to store numerous earth-toned wooden jigsaw puzzle pieces; a large, red cardboard “Tuck’s Zag-Zaw The Royal Picture Puzzle” box, marked “The Original British Made” and “Used by Royalty Society & The Great Public,” accompanied by an open red box also containing similar puzzle pieces; a black folding Agfa camera, likely an Agfa Solinette model; a pair of black binoculars; a brown leather wallet; two small, advertising-style “Somster Needles” metal tins; and a “Loudtone” tin. Completing the collection are a decorative wooden or cardboard plaque depicting figures in period costume and a dark, irregularly shaped decorative object.
