Another Great Auction 11th December
An Aynsley ‘Cottage Garden’ Fine English Bone China Ginger Jar, a lidded pot adorned with vibrant floral and butterfly motifs. Its base is marked “EST. 1775 AYNESLEY MADE IN ENGLAND FINE ENGLISH BONE CHINA COTTAGE GARDEN PORTRAYAL OF THE FLORA OF AN ENGLISH COTTAGE GARDEN.”
Accompanied by a Coalport ‘Lady Eliza’ bone china figurine, depicting a woman in a yellow and white period gown, marked on its base “BONE CHINA COALPORT MADE IN ENGLAND EST 1750 © Compton & Woodhouse 1992.” Also included are three glass bottles, one amber and two clear, with one clear bottle marked with volumetric measurements including “TABLE SPOONS.” Further items comprise a boxed silver-toned “ROYAL WEDDING JAM SPOON” and an Arthur Price of England silver-toned cake server, presented in its original box marked “Cutlers and silversmiths since 1902” and displaying royal warrants for Queen Elizabeth II and HRH The Prince of Wales.
