A two-tiered jewelry box, likely wood with a black lacquered finish and brass-tone hardware, opening to reveal a red velvet interior. The lid of the top compartment displays several necklaces, including silver-tone chains, a multi-strand faux pearl necklace, and a gold-tone chain with a locket-style pendant, alongside a pair of decorative metal scissors. The main tray of this compartment holds a mixed assortment of costume jewelry, featuring beaded necklaces, pendants, and rings. Also present are several empty or partially filled jewelry boxes, including one blue velvet box, another white and blue box marked “Dalton,”. The lower pull-out drawer is densely packed with a varied collection of costume jewelry, comprising numerous rings, brooches, earrings, and bracelets, predominantly in silver-tone and gold-tone metals, some adorned with faux pearls, rhinestones, or colored glass stones.
