Another Great Auction 11th December
An East Asian style carved wooden walking stick, featuring an intricately detailed dragon head handle. The shaft is extensively adorned with carved scrollwork patterns and numerous repeating stylized Chinese characters ‘福’ (fú), which translate to ‘fortune,’ ‘good luck,’ or ‘blessing.’ Crafted from a single piece of polished light brown wood, possibly lacquered, and fitted with an orange/amber-colored ferrule at the base.
