Another Great Auction 11th December
This lot features three military-style helmets, likely dating to the mid-20th century. The leftmost helmet is a heavily oxidized and discolored metal shell with significant surface wear. The central helmet is a dark green painted metal shell featuring two white, angular “cat eye” markings on the front, exhibiting numerous scratches and scuffs, and revealing a green webbing internal liner. The rightmost helmet is also a dark green painted metal shell with scuffs and paint loss, featuring a small yellow sticker with “30.00” written on its exterior, and an internal brown fabric and leather strap liner clearly marked “U.S.N.” (United States Navy) on one of its straps. All three helmets display varying degrees of wear, consistent with age and previous use.
