A freestanding magazine or music stand, dating from the late 19th or early 20th century, crafted from a medium reddish-brown stained hardwood. The piece features multiple vertical compartments over a single drawer, supported by four turned legs with finial tops. It exhibits traditional design characteristics, including a decorative wavy top rail and turned elements. The drawer front is adorned with a burled wood veneer and fitted with a brass mushroom-style pull. No visible text or maker’s marks are apparent.
