Another Great Auction 11th December
A comprehensive collection of fly-tying materials and tools, suitable for a fly fishing enthusiast. The lot comprises items distributed across a large green-sided cardboard box and a smaller blue multi-compartment plastic organizer. The cardboard box contains a copy of “FLY TYING Techniques A FULL COLOUR GUIDE” by Jacqueline Wakeford, a black fly reel, a table-mounted vise or clamp, various tools, and bulk materials including assorted feathers (some green, some dark brown), a rabbit or hare pelt, and spools of thread/wire, with some smaller items contained in a repurposed “Ferrero Rocher” plastic box. The smaller blue plastic organizer is neatly compartmentalized, holding numerous spools of colored thread and floss, several packets of “MUSTAD” brand fishing hooks (marked “MADE IN NORWAY,” “Qual. 1663,” “No. 12,” and “No. 10”), small bags of natural materials labeled “Hawkes & Partridge,” “Orange,” and “Gossamer,” a spool of “PL-FIL SPECIAL” fishing line (0.18 mm, 5 kg, 25 m), and an “Angling Times” pen.
