A Disney ‘The Lion King’ Main Cast Commemorative Sericel, created in 1994. This piece is an offset lithograph on acetate with a multicel set up, depicting a group of principal characters from Disney’s ‘The Lion King’—including Mufasa, Simba, Nala, Timon, Pumbaa, Zazu, Rafiki, Scar, and several hyenas—set against a natural landscape background. It was created by the Walt Disney Company as an insert for a promotional publication. The artwork is presented within a reddish-brown frame with a wide white mat. The reverse side features a label detailing the item as “ANIMATION ART,” “The Lion King,” “1994,” and specifying its material and purpose, along with identifying numbers “74715.0002” and “Lot # 195.” A yellow sticker on the front upper right of the frame bears the marking “K1370.”
