Another Great Auction 11th December
A decorative electric lamp crafted in a style reminiscent of Southeast Asian folk art, likely Thai or Balinese, appearing to be of contemporary manufacture. The central figure, constructed from a light-colored resin or composite with gilded gold accents on traditional attire and jewelry, is depicted in two variations across the images: one playing a transverse flute, and another a small barrel drum. Three distinct lamp shades, intricately carved from dark coconut shells, including a central lotus blossom and two spherical motifs, extend from the figure via natural fiber-wrapped arms. The entire ensemble is mounted on a dark, circular wooden or composite base, with a visible black electrical cord suggesting its function as a lamp.
