Another Great Auction 11th December
A pair of World War II British Army mess tins. Crafted from silver-toned aluminium, these utilitarian containers are designed to be stackable. The upper container is stamped ‘MMS,’ features an upward-pointing arrow (broad arrow mark), and ‘AF0225’ on its riveted handle attachment bracket. It also bears the year ‘1945.’ The lower container is marked ‘AA588C’ and a partial ‘1945’ on its corresponding bracket. Consistent with field equipment.
