Another Great Auction 11th December
This lot presents a collection of vintage mechanical tools, primarily constructed from brass with steel fittings, an aluminum cylinder on one piece, and a tin or galvanized steel oil can. The assortment includes a small oil can prominently marked ‘WALL OIL’ on its side. Several brass-bodied specialized instruments are also present, featuring adjustable mechanisms often involving rectangular blocks and connecting rods. These instruments are visually consistent with components of a scientific apparatus, such as an ebulliometer. One piece has a knurled brass handle, and another terminates in a perforated brass disc, possibly a spray nozzle.
