Another Great Auction 11th December
An 18th Century mahogany shaving stand and cabinet. The upper piece features a circular, scalloped top with a subtle decorative inlay or veneer border, supported by a turned pedestal rising from a square base with four splayed, curved legs. This piece rests atop an octagonal-topped cabinet, likely crafted from mahogany or a similar stained hardwood with a glossy finish. The cabinet includes one central drawer with a single ornate brass-toned pull, and two open shelves beneath. A decorative carved border is present directly below the cabinet’s top surface. Both items exhibit a traditional or classic style.
