A large, decorative sculpture or wall panel, made in Thailand, featuring an arrangement of carved flora set against a substantial, dark-toned, deeply textured natural wood log or panel. Numerous stylized lotus-like flowers and seed pods, crafted from a light brown material resembling carved and perforated coconut shell, are mounted on slender metallic gold-toned stems and accented with smaller leaves. At the base, a prominent abstract element, possibly a hand or root form, is finished in a bright gilded gold. The style is organic and naturalistic, suggesting a contemporary or exotic origin.
