Another Great Auction 11th December
A Thai hand-crafted floor lamp, designed with a tall, slender form. The piece is constructed primarily from natural bamboo slats arranged vertically and interwoven with thinner bamboo strips, creating a structural frame and segmented pattern. A translucent, light-colored material, likely paper or fabric, acts as a diffuser behind the bamboo. The lamp features four dark, multi-petal flower-like decorative elements, possibly carved wood or coconut shell, centrally positioned within square openings. It rests on a dark, rectangular base, likely wood. The design conveys a mid-century aesthetic with clear Asian influence.
