A compact, fall-front wooden bureau or desk, crafted from a medium to dark reddish-brown hardwood, exhibiting prominent grain. The upper fall-front section is secured by a simple metal ring pull; when opened, this reveals an interior fitted with two small drawers and pigeonhole compartments. Below the desk area are two cabinet doors, each incorporating a decorative dark metal mesh panel and simple metal pulls. The hardware, including hinges and pulls, is of a simple, dark metal finish. The piece displays a rustic or colonial-inspired style, appearing to be of modern manufacture, likely late 20th or early 21st century.
