Another Great Auction 11th December
This collection comprises five antique Scottish-style decorative pins. Four items are fashioned as grouse claw brooches or kilt pins, featuring natural fur paws or feet with visible claws, adorned with silver-toned metal caps and settings. These include faceted orange-amber colored stones, a simpler silver-toned bead, and one with a green enameled shamrock motif. Another pin is crafted from natural feathers in shades of brown, orange, and black, set into a silver-toned metal fitting with a faceted orange-amber stone. The fifth item is a carved, light-colored material, likely bone or ivory, depicting a stylized quadruped animal, possibly a lion. All items are equipped with functional pin mechanisms on their reverses.
