Another Great Auction 11th December
A collection of five brooches, primarily in a sporting or hunting style. Three brooches feature preserved animal paws with fur, each affixed with a silvery-tone metal cap and pin mechanism; two of these are further embellished with a faceted amber-colored stone. A fourth brooch consists of a vibrant cluster of multi-colored game bird feathers, secured by a silvery-tone metal mount featuring a thistle design and a central dark red cabochon. The fifth brooch is a stylized, carved piece resembling a bird or fish, crafted from a light, naturally striated material, and is presented on a blue-grey card marked with the English text “Real horn” and “Hand-made.”
