A collection of nine square decorative items, likely ceramic tiles or hardboard coasters, featuring transfer-printed illustrations of historical British firearms and accoutrements. Each item measures 6×6 inches. The decoration is executed on a glossy white ground, utilizing black, gold, and reddish-brown pigments to depict various flintlock pistol models, including cannon-barrelled and spring-bayonet types, alongside corresponding pistol flasks. Extensive black script text identifies the illustrated objects, specifying makers such as Waters of Birmingham, B. Brooke of London, and J. Furber, and dating the pieces approximately between circa 1700 and 1782. The items are suitable for decorative or functional use.
