A Wedgwood limited edition porcelain figurine, titled ‘The Turn of the Century Ball,’ accompanied by its original certificate of authenticity from Spink. The lot consists of two items: the figurine and the certificate. The figurine depicts a standing woman in a late Victorian or Edwardian style, wearing a voluminous pink and cream gown adorned with sculpted roses and ribbon details. The figure is executed in fine porcelain with polychrome painted details and minor gilt accents on the jewelry and the small object held in her left hand. The accompanying paper certificate, marked with the Spink logo, confirms the piece is from a limited edition of 10,000, and this specific example bears the signature number 06353.
