A pair of glazed porcelain figural groupings attributed to Lladro,?? modeled in a sentimental 20th-century style. The first figurine depicts a young girl wearing a long mauve and pink sleeveless dress, holding a basket containing four puppies, and accompanied by a small tan and white puppy standing at her feet. The second figurine features a young girl wearing a dusty blue and purple sleeveless dress, holding a basket containing three kittens, with a small gray and white kitten sitting near her feet. Both pieces utilize a soft pastel color palette and stand on separate, integrated oval bases. The style is consistent with the Lladro “Friends Forever” or “Best of Friends” series. No manufacturer markings or text are visibly discernible in the images.
