Another Great Auction 16th December
A collection of five vintage decorative tiles, constructed of ceramic material. Each square tile features a glossy white glazed ground decorated with a polychrome illustration of an early antique automobile. The depicted vehicles are identified by inscriptions below the illustration: “Franklin Car 1906,” “Rolls Royce 1904,” “Duryea’s Motor Wagon 1893,” and two tiles marked “Selden’s Motor Wagon 1877.” The style is consistent with mid-to-late 20th-century automotive collector’s items.
