A traditional electric piano or bankers desk lamp, constructed primarily of brass-toned metal. The lamp features a curved gooseneck rising from a reeded, fluted brass pedestal base, which is mounted on a stepped circular plinth of dark reddish-stained wood. The elongated rectangular shade is detailed with an applied decorative relief depicting a flowing ribbon or bow knot motif. The lamp is fitted with a brown textile-covered electrical cord, an in-line plastic switch, and a British-standard three-pin plug. No legible manufacturer’s marks or inscriptions are visible.
The overall dimensions are approximately 12 X 17 inches.
