Another Great Auction 16th December
This lot comprises two separate glazed ceramic figurines. The first is a Poole Pottery sculpture depicting a large black dolphin leaping over a molded wave rendered in a deep teal-blue glaze. The inverted base of this item is marked with the Poole Pottery seahorse logo, along with the stamped text POOLE and ENGLAND, confirming its 20th-century origin. The second item is a smaller figurine, attributed to Nao (Lladro Group), featuring three creamy white geese or ducks standing on a mottled grey and brown base adjacent to a pale vertical stump or reed grouping. The inverted base of the geese figurine shows faint molded or stamped markings including a stylized initial or code DAO.
