Another Great Auction 16th December
A collection of twelve assorted international paper currency banknotes, primarily featuring issues from Southeast Asia and East Asia. The collection includes notes from various issuing authorities and denominations. Visible notes include a Hong Kong TWENTY DOLLARS note (bearing serial number FP639532), a BANK OF CHINA 20 note, and multiple notes issued by the Government of Thailand (รัฐบาลไทย) featuring the portrait of King Bhumibol Adulyadej, in denominations of 20 and 50. The lot also contains at least two older colonial notes marked TWENTY-FIVE PIASTRES, consistent with research suggesting the inclusion of currencies related to French Indochina, Cambodia, and Burma in similar assorted lots. The notes are constructed of currency paper.
