Another Great Auction 16th December
A vintage Smiths Empire manual wind wristwatch, likely dating to the 1950s, presented in its original black and red hinged presentation box. The watch features a silver-tone base metal case and a two-tone circular dial with a black chapter ring and a cream/gold center. The dial displays gold-tone hands and is inscribed “SMITHS EMPIRE,” “5 JEWELS,” and “MADE IN GT BRITAIN” at the lower edge. The watch is fitted with a brown textured leather strap. The interior of the presentation box is lined with red satin, gold-stamped “SMITHS” on the lid, and includes a red velvet cushion insert.
